The South
Fork of the American River is a great introduction to white water rafting. From
beautiful classic sierra foothill scenery to peaceful calms it has over 50
class II &III rapids. It has something to thrill the beginner and enough
white water to satisfy the experienced rafter. We offer from a half day trip to
a two day white water rafting adventure to meet anyone's desire for your
rafting vacation. The river is divided into two section: the Upper (Chili Bar
Run) and the Lower (Gorge Run) with a full river option for the truly
adventuresome. Our camp is located right on the river with flush bathroom
facilities with unlimited hot water showers. Shaded, green and flat would best
describe our camping areas.
